Circle of Friends Tea

St. Martin’s Healthcare Circle of Friends presents the "Circle of Giving" Tea annually in February. Attended by 200 women of all ages, guests have the opportunity to purchase chance tickets on a variety of gift packages, donated by local businesses, individuals and organizations. A light lunch is served followed by entertainment and an inspiring message from a patient of the clinic. One of the highlights of the event, which the tea has become very well known for is the delicious, individual desserts that are lovingly made by volunteers and staff.

The first tea was held in 2007 at the Garrett Country Club. As its popularity grew, the event was moved to the JAM Center in 2009 and in 2010 found its new home at the First United Methodist Church in Auburn. Various themes included "A Jazzy Affair", "Mad Hatter", "A Black & White Affair", "Heart of Giving", "We’re All Important to the Puzzle", and "Thread in the Safety Net Fabric."

Various sponsorship opportunities are available each year. All proceeds from this event support St. Martin’s Healthcare which serves the uninsured needs of DeKalb and Noble County.
